TYPES OF EMPLOYER SPONSORED VISAS
There are several types of employer sponsored visas, including:
TEMPORARY SKILL SHORTAGE (TSS) VISA (SUBCLASS 482)

 Short-Term Stream: For occupations on the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).

 Medium-Term Stream: For occupations on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills
List (MLTSSL).

 Labour Agreement Stream: For occupations under a labour agreement between the
Australian government and an employer.

EMPLOYER NOMINATION SCHEME (ENS) VISA (SUBCLASS 186)
 Direct Entry Stream: For applicants who have been nominated by an Australian employer.

 Temporary Residence Transition Stream: For applicants who have worked with their
sponsoring employer on a TSS visa for at least three years.

 Labour Agreement Stream: For workers nominated by an employer through a labour
agreement.

REGIONAL SPONSORED MIGRATION SCHEME (RSMS) VISA (SUBCLASS 187)
 Direct Entry Stream: For workers nominated by an employer in regional Australia.

 Temporary Residence Transition Stream: For applicants who have worked for their
sponsoring employer in regional Australia on a TSS visa for at least three years.
